育才学校的前身是基督教培贤女子神学院,始建于1920年。解放后,由市人民政府接管办起工农速成中学。1953年8月,改为广州市育才小学。1956年,育才小学与市立东区二小、东区八小、私立道青小学合并为保安街二小,后称寺贝通津小学。1960年9月,由市教育局指定进行十年一贯制试验,与市七中合为广州师院附属实验学校。1964年,复名寺贝通津小学。1986年9月开始在三至五年级开设体育班。1988年——1989年度先后招收小学和初中一年级体育生,并于1988年5月定名为“东山区育才体育运动实验学校”,后又定名为“东山区育才学校”。2001年被评为广州市一级学校。2003年2月,育才学校与育鹰小学、水均岗小学三所学校合并,搬迁到东风东路782号,保留了“东山区育才学校”的校名。

1996年,育才小学开办。四层教学楼、几位教师、不到百名学生,师生加起来一共才56人,小小的一间学校。学校虽小,志向却大:建设现代化优质社区学校。
1999年,育才小学找到了自己的发展之路,在华南师范大学有关专家教授的指导下形成了学校的整体改革方案,确立以信息技术与课程整合作为突破口。
2001年,育才小学在参加“新基础教育”改革实验的时候,有幸得到叶澜教授的教喻,“把精神生命发展的主动权还给师生”,现代教育理念与开阔的教育视野让华景小学站得更高,走得更远,“学校充满勃勃的生机”。
2002年,育才小学新办六年,初试啼声,顺利通过广州市一级学校评估。学校提出明确的办学理念:为学生的终身成长奠定坚实的基础,为教师的专业发展营造宽阔的平台,为学校的持续进步引领正确的方向。
2005年,育才小学北校区开办,学校规模扩大数倍;学校也被评为广东省一级学校,为社区居民提供更多更优质的学位。
2009年,育才小学已有38个班、1800余学生、100余位教师。学校的办学方向更为具体:追求精致的教育品质,提供多元的学习环境,凝聚积极的校园文化,培养健康有潜质的儿童,成为社区优质文化积极的传播者。

育才学校的前身是基督教培贤女子神学院,始建于1920年。解放后,由市人民政府接管办起工农速成中学。1953年8月,改为广州市育才小学。1956年,育才小学与市立东区二小、东区八小、私立道青小学合并为保安街二小,后称寺贝通津小学。1960年9月,由市教育局指定进行十年一贯制试验,与市七中合为广州师院附属实验学校。1964年,复名寺贝通津小学。1986年9月开始在三至五年级开设体育班。1988年——1989年度先后招收小学和初中一年级体育生,并于1988年5月定名为“东山区育才体育运动实验学校”,后又定名为“东山区育才学校”。2001年被评为广州市一级学校。2003年2月,育才学校与育鹰小学、水均岗小学三所学校合并,搬迁到东风东路782号,保留了“东山区育才学校”的校名。

1996年,育才小学开办。四层教学楼、几位教师、不到百名学生,师生加起来一共才56人,小小的一间学校。学校虽小,志向却大:建设现代化优质社区学校。
1999年,育才小学找到了自己的发展之路,在华南师范大学有关专家教授的指导下形成了学校的整体改革方案,确立以信息技术与课程整合作为突破口。
2001年,育才小学在参加“新基础教育”改革实验的时候,有幸得到叶澜教授的教喻,“把精神生命发展的主动权还给师生”,现代教育理念与开阔的教育视野让华景小学站得更高,走得更远,“学校充满勃勃的生机”。
2002年,育才小学新办六年,初试啼声,顺利通过广州市一级学校评估。学校提出明确的办学理念:为学生的终身成长奠定坚实的基础,为教师的专业发展营造宽阔的平台,为学校的持续进步引领正确的方向。
2005年,育才小学北校区开办,学校规模扩大数倍;学校也被评为广东省一级学校,为社区居民提供更多更优质的学位。
