育才学校的前身是基督教培贤女子神学院,始建于1920年。解放后,由市人民政府接管办起工农速成中学。1953年8月,改为广州市育才小学。1956年,育才小学与市立东区二小、东区八小、私立道青小学合并为保安街二小,后称寺贝通津小学。1960年9月,由市教育局指定进行十年一贯制试验,与市七中合为广州师院附属实验学校。1964年,复名寺贝通津小学。1986年9月开始在三至五年级开设体育班。1988年——1989年度先后招收小学和初中一年级体育生,并于1988年5月定名为“东山区育才体育运动实验学校”,后又定名为“东山区育才学校”。2001年被评为广州市一级学校。2003年2月,育才学校与育鹰小学、水均岗小学三所学校合并,搬迁到东风东路782号,保留了“东山区育才学校”的校名。

1957年8月学校改成公办后,按自然街划分定校名,当时学校正校是在西华路208号,遂改名为西华路小学。
在1960年,由广州市人民政府拨款。在西华路白马涌边8号筹建新校舍,于1964年建成了一座规模较大的校舍,学校占地2500平方米,教学大楼总建筑面积1600平方米。有正规教室23个,其中2个小室。新校舍落成之后,同时保留了之前的两间小分校。
1964年又改名为西华路第一小学。
1968年初,该校名称改为小红军小学。
1969年2月,两间分校撤消,一间周门村的分校校舍上缴回教育局作为教工宿舍之用,另一间西华路208号的分校校舍上缴教育局后由教育开办荔湾区教育局第一托儿所。
1972年4月,经上级教育局部门批准,该学校又恢复了西华路小学的校名,延用至今。
荔湾区委、区政府从提高我区的教育综合实力出发,2002年,把原来的金花小区配套的一所小学用地和我校用地(西华路白马涌边8号)合并,易址重建新,选址在西华路彩虹晒地2号。2002年4月新校破土动工,同年9月10日新校封顶,2003年5月初正式使用,学校占地面积5930平方米,教学大楼总建筑面积4661平方米。

自古以来,村民以种植水稻、甘蔗、桑树、花卉为业,素有“花卉之乡、盆景之地”的美誉。龙溪地区民风纯朴,崇文重教,“乐诗书而好文辞”。早在1799年(嘉庆四年),应进士梁云门之邀,江南才子宋湘便在龙溪的镇龙塔留下了“蟾龙砥柱” “南屏”“云起处”等墨宝。1875年(光绪元年),清末进士林耀增在龙溪创办“凤池书院”,自为山长,开堂讲学,教化乡民。这便是今天龙溪小学的前身。
龙溪地区一度私塾林立,乡学遍布。其中比较有名的如秀芳书院,直到上世纪五十年代才停办。1930年龙溪小学正式创办,当时有学生60余人,教师2人。抗日战争胜利后,改称为南海县第三区龙溪乡中心国民校。1952年又改称为龙溪小学。 1991年在区、镇、村三级政府的关怀下,由香港爱国同胞朱恩余先生夫妇捐赠五十七万元,区、镇政府拔款、村委投入和村民集资共一百多万元,扩建改造旧校舍,新校舍1992年正式落成。

In August 1957, after the school was changed into a public school, the school name was determined by nature street. At that time, the school was located at 208 xihua road, so it was renamed xihua road primary school.
In 1960, it was allocated by the people's government of guangzhou. A new school building was built in no.8 baima yongbian, xihua road. 育才学校的前身是基督教培贤女子神学院,始建于1920年。解放后,由市人民政府接管办起工农速成中学。1953年8月,改为广州市育才小学。1956年,育才小学与市立东区二小、东区八小、私立道青小学合并为保安街二小,后称寺贝通津小学。1960年9月,由市教育局指定进行十年一贯制试验,与市七中合为广州师院附属实验学校。1964年,复名寺贝通津小学。1986年9月开始在三至五年级开设体育班。1988年——1989年度先后招收小学和初中一年级体育生,并于1988年5月定名为“东山区育才体育运动实验学校”,后又定名为“东山区育才学校”。2001年被评为广州市一级学校。2003年2月,育才学校与育鹰小学、水均岗小学三所学校合并,搬迁到东风东路782号,保留了“东山区育才学校”的校名。

1957年8月学校改成公办后,按自然街划分定校名,当时学校正校是在西华路208号,遂改名为西华路小学。
在1960年,由广州市人民政府拨款。在西华路白马涌边8号筹建新校舍,于1964年建成了一座规模较大的校舍,学校占地2500平方米,教学大楼总建筑面积1600平方米。有正规教室23个,其中2个小室。新校舍落成之后,同时保留了之前的两间小分校。
1964年又改名为西华路第一小学。
1968年初,该校名称改为小红军小学。
1969年2月,两间分校撤消,一间周门村的分校校舍上缴回教育局作为教工宿舍之用,另一间西华路208号的分校校舍上缴教育局后由教育开办荔湾区教育局第一托儿所。
1972年4月,经上级教育局部门批准,该学校又恢复了西华路小学的校名,延用至今。
荔湾区委、区政府从提高我区的教育综合实力出发,2002年,把原来的金花小区配套的一所小学用地和我校用地(西华路白马涌边8号)合并,易址重建新,选址在西华路彩虹晒地2号。2002年4月新校破土动工,同年9月10日新校封顶,2003年5月初正式使用,学校占地面积5930平方米,教学大楼总建筑面积4661平方米。

自古以来,村民以种植水稻、甘蔗、桑树、花卉为业,素有“花卉之乡、盆景之地”的美誉。龙溪地区民风纯朴,崇文重教,“乐诗书而好文辞”。早在1799年(嘉庆四年),应进士梁云门之邀,江南才子宋湘便在龙溪的镇龙塔留下了“蟾龙砥柱” “南屏”“云起处”等墨宝。1875年(光绪元年),清末进士林耀增在龙溪创办“凤池书院”,自为山长,开堂讲学,教化乡民。这便是今天龙溪小学的前身。
龙溪地区一度私塾林立,乡学遍布。其中比较有名的如秀芳书院,直到上世纪五十年代才停办。1930年龙溪小学正式创办,当时有学生60余人,教师2人。抗日战争胜利后,改称为南海县第三区龙溪乡中心国民校。1952年又改称为龙溪小学。 1991年在区、镇、村三级政府的关怀下,由香港爱国同胞朱恩余先生夫妇捐赠五十七万元,区、镇政府拔款、村委投入和村民集资共一百多万元,扩建改造旧校舍,新校舍1992年正式落成。
